What kind of paper do you use for Posters?
We use museum-grade matte paper. This premium, heavyweight paper 250 gsm feels substantial and durable.

Do the products come ready to hang?
Canvas and framed canvas: Yes! These arrive with mounting brackets and hardware included, so you can hang them immediately.
Posters: These are shipped either rolled in protective tubes or in flat envelopes, depending on the size, and do not include frames or hanging strips.

Is the packaging recyclable?
We strive to use plastic-free packaging wherever possible. Most orders are shipped in cardboard boxes, triangular tubes, or paper sleeves that are fully recyclable.

Where are your products produced?
Our production network spans Germany and the EU. We produce locally wherever possible.
Reduced carbon footprint: When you place an order, it is automatically routed to the production facility closest to your delivery address. This drastically cuts down on shipping distances and carbon emissions compared to shipping everything from a single overseas warehouse.
Faster delivery: Local production means your package spends less time in transit.
Are your materials eco-friendly?
Yes. We are committed to responsible sourcing.
Wood and paper: The wood used for our canvases and frames, as well as our museum-grade paper, is either FSC- or PEFC-certified. This certification guarantees that the materials come from sustainably managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
Inks: We use water-based inks that are free from harmful chemicals, making them safe for your home and better for the environment.

How do I receive my digital files?
How does music licensing for WAV downloads work?
When you purchase a download from OBSKUR, you are not buying the copyright to the music. Instead, you are purchasing a license to use it.

Is it possible to return a digital product?

What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping is free.
The only time you have to pay shipping is, when you return an item.
Where do you ship?
We ship to all countries within the European Union (EU).
How long does shipping take?
Once your order has been processed and payment has been confirmed, estimated shipping times are:
- Germany:2–4 business days.
- Rest of EU: 2–8 business days.
Will I have to pay customs fees?
For orders shipped to addresses within the EU, no customs fees apply.
How is the packaging handled?
We ensure that your artwork arrives safely.
Posters are shipped in triangular boxes or tubes to prevent them from being crushed.
Canvases are placed in protective sleeves and secured in robust cardboard boxes fitted with corner guards to prevent damage during transit.

What is your return policy?
The return process differs depending on whether you have purchased a physical or digital product. Please refer to our full returns policy for details.
I have received a damaged or defective item
We are very sorry to hear that! Quality is our top priority, but mistakes in printing or damage during transit can occasionally happen.
If this has happened to you, please email us within 48 hours of delivery, quoting your order number and attaching clear photos of the damage. The more information and photos you can provide, the better.

I would like to exercise my 14-day right of withdrawal and return the product
Please follow these steps to ensure your return is processed quickly:
- Contact Us First: Do not send the package back without notifying us. Email our support team at support@obskur.net with your Order ID and the reason for the return.
- Wait for Instructions: We will reply (usually within 1-2 business days) with the correct return address in Germany.
- Ship the Item: Pack the item securely (ideally in original packaging) and ship it to the address provided. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
- Refund: Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
